Old Orchard Beach is a Summer Only stop for Amtrak and a short ride from Portland for a beach day. The station is at 11 1st St., Old Orchard Beach, ME 04064, 43.514376, -70.376234. You may also want to go over to the east end of the siding at Ocean Park at 136-146 Temple Ave.

Directions from the Saco Station to the Old Orchard Beach Station

  • Turn left onto Main St and drive 0.5 mi
  • Turn right onto Beach St and drive 0.9 mi
  • Turn left onto Old Orchard Rd and drive 1.3 mi
  • Turn right onto Temple Ave drive 1.2 mi
  • When you cross the tracks on Temple St. you are at Ocean Park
  • Turn left onto W Grand Ave drive 0.7 mi
  • Turn left onto Atlantic Ave drive 174 ft
  • Take the 1st right onto 1st St drive 0.3 mi
  • Old Orchard Beach Station will be on the right
